YUVAL HAMEIRI
Interdisciplinary artist, wanderer, coffee maker, true friend, Inconsistent being, Director, Performer, and Creator for Screen, Stage, and Space.
Member of the "Art Club" Collective, Exploring Feedback Methods and Creative Processes, Seeking the Poetics of the Everyday and the Relationships Between Spirit and Matter.
I was born in Haifa in 1987. I received a video camera in 2000.
I studied film directing at the Department of Film at Tel Aviv University and at the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem. I also studied education and art at the Art Institute, Beit Berl College. I write "studied" because I did not graduate from any of those places.
Between 2012 and 2019, I lived in Afula as a member of the Tarbut Movement — an organization of artists and educators for cultural renewal in Israel, where I worked with teenagers in schools and boarding schools, creating original works in collaboration with the community.
Currently, I write short biographies of myself and take many coffee breaks.
